Q.| I would definitely like to learn about your technology! Could you explain me how it works?
A.| Just contact us for any further information that you may need via firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be more than happy to provide you with more technical information and explain you every detail about how we work.
Q.| How do I know if your service is suitable to my budget?
A.| As we work with a highly customer-oriented approach, every project has different requirements. If you send us a 3D model and the specifications that you need, we can provide you with a quotation.
Q.| Which format do you accept for quotes?
A.| We prefer stl formats. If not, any 3D model would work also.
Q.| What should be the minimum wall thickness of my model?
A.| To guarantee the precision of your printed piece we usually talk about a wall thickness of around 5 mm.
Q.| I sometimes get requests for custom sizing of my products, because I work always with standard models. Could you offer that option?
A.| Of course! For us it is not a problem at all to edit some of your models to make them printable.
Q.| Is the final product thought to be indoors only?
A.| Depending of the post-process that we endow the printed piece it suitable to outdoor or indoor spaces. Please note that this applies to normal outdoor circumstances.
Q.| What about the colors? Texture? Can I decide that?
A.| Sure! One of our main values is to offer the individualization of the product and therefore we offer a personal service depending on the objective of the project. After our post-processing the piece maintains the rough texture of the sand. It is possible to rework the surface of the piece applying any RAL color.
Q.| Is it expensive?
A.| We individualized our post-process depending on the needs of the clients and the background of its application. Therefore, the price is influenced by the complexity of the piece, if it is thought to be outdoors or indoors, and the weight. The production costs are therefore mostly attached to the type of post-process that we realize and to the size.
Q.| Which kind of partnership are you looking for?
A.| First of all we are a completly open to any kind of collaboration but mainly our aim is to introduce this new technique (3D sand printing) to the art/design/architecture sector and our goal is to establish ourselves as a service provider there.
Q.| How can we collaborate?
A.| We usually position ourselves as manufacturers in this kind of partnerships.
As you probably already worked with many different materials in your projects we thought that it could be interesting for you to experiment with sand in order to not only endow your projects with an innovative and exclusive result but also to expand to your material portfolio.
